The Raymond Recreation Department will be offering a six-week Meditation & Introduction to Reiki.  During the 6 weeks, you will learn different meditation techniques, learn what Reiki is, how it is related to meditation. You will have guided meditation practice and discussion time. The instructor for this course will be Monica L Cyr, a Raymond resident and a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui/Tibetan system of healing as well as a certified Yoga Teacher in the Vinyasa Style.  With 10+ years of teaching experience, in both group and private settings, Monica believes in tailoring her classes to the individual needs of her students to ensure a positive experience for all.  She also guest teaches at the local Avalon Holistic Clinic and Retreat.
 
Classes will be held on Thursdays in the media center at Iber Holmes Gove Middle School from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.  Must be 14 years old to sign up, with parent consent.
 
The fee for this six-week program is $40.00 per person. Non-residents pay an additional $5.00.  Please make the check payable to Raymond Recreation Department.
